Planning approved for Wilde Road

Planning permission has been approved for our Wilde Road Housing Scheme in Erith, London Borough of Bexley.

The proposal is for 6 houses on two parcels land situated on Bronte Close. The site has been selected for development by the London Borough of Bexley Council to address the urgent need for high quality housing.

The proposals seek to make best use of the site by creating a scheme of appropriate density, with good amenity space and parking provision, whilst having an engaging building form and public realm.

The houses have been carefully designed with rigorous engagement from the council to meet this design criteria, London Plan and the resulting proposals sit comfortably in their immediate context.

Wilde Road would maintain a feeling of openness with the houses set back from the street edge and Bronte Close would now benefit from strong building lines and an active public realm instead of dense hedging and fences.

Materials have been selected to suit the context and to continue to be aesthetically beneficial to the site.

The proposals give the opportunity to create 6 homes with good amenity space and parking in an area in need of new housing on a site that has been earmarked for development to benefit the residents of Bexley.
