Barton Manor School

Barton Manor School, a part of the Barton Court Academy Trust, offers education to students between the ages of 11 and 19. The new building boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a sports block, a multi-use games area, grass sports pitches, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

The school’s design includes specialized classrooms for catering technology, textiles, hair and beauty therapy, as well as rooms for Art and 3D design, digital technologies, business and finance, IT, and health and social care.

The interior of the building is comprised of four central atriums that span three stories, providing ample light and promoting vertical connectivity. The modern and striking exterior design of the building enhances the overall aesthetic for all who use the facility.

The former Chaucer Technology site, which had been abandoned for four years, now serves as the new home for Barton Court School. The original school, established in 1967, was located on Spring Lane and has since remained at the same location.

The successful opening of Barton Court School took place in September 2022.
