Chichester Free School awarded 'High Commendation' at Sussex Heritage Trust Awards

Chichester Free School was entered into the ‘Public and Community’ award which awards projects that provide or improves facilities for the community.

The former Carmelite Convent site in Hunston, West Sussex, built in 1870, had fallen into a dilapidated state following the building being vacated in 1994.

The convent was then rebuilt and renovated to accommodate a new ‘all through’ school building with the Convent to becoming the ‘Heart of the School’.

Congratulations to all the team on their hard work and efforts bringing the Chichester Free School project to life.
