Seahaven Academy Construction Progress

Construction is progressing well at our Seahaven Academy project in Newhaven.

The proposed development is comprised of alterations to the existing Seahaven Academy school buildings and the provision of new accommodation to enable the one form entry (1FE) expansion.

Seahaven Academy Construction Progress

Seahaven Academy currently has capacity for 750 pupils and it is intended to increase the capacity of the school to 900 pupils. The project is commissioned by East Sussex County Council (ESCC).

The new development includes demolition of steps and retaining walls in the vicinity of the existing main entrance and a new two-storey extension to the northern side of the school building.

The refurbished parts of the school and the new extension will accommodate a new entrance area, administration suite, standard teaching classrooms, ICT/ Multi-use classrooms, Activity Studio and replacement of Staff offices.

Additionally there will be new car parking provision for the increased numbers of staff and a rearrangement of the school access within the site. Alterations to the external arrangement includes the re-location of the bin store, re-located cycle storage and a new access way between the school car park and the lower level playground.

Works near completion at Quest Academy

Construction at our Quest Academy project in Rugby is nearly complete. This special educational needs (SEN) school is due for completion in August ready to open in September. The external envelope of the building is now complete.
