Vyners Shortlisted for LABC Award

Our Vyners School in Hillingdon, London has been shortlisted for Best Public Service or Educational Building at this years LABC Awards.

Noviun are delighted to announce that our Vyners School project in Ickenham, London has today been shortlisted for the ‘Best Public Service or Education Building’ at this years LABC Awards.

The work at Vyners School included a new 2 storey extension to the existing school block creating a striking main entrance facade.

The new facilities also included addressing the existing gable end of the sports hall, linking at the first floor to the existing gable end of the Art/DT block.

Other additions to the build include new teaching spaces, library and a Special Educational Needs Suite and admin facilities.

This nomination follows a long string of previous award nominations at the same awards with our John Wallis Academy, Harris Academy and Northwood School projects all receiving nominations previously.

The Local Authority Building Control (LABC) represents all local authority building control teams in England and Wales and The LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards are the largest business to business awards in the UK.

The awards evening is on the 1st May 2020 at the Guildhall in London.

Congratulations to the entire design team on this nomination and we hope to update further if we win the award.
