Addington Valley Academy Shortlisted for 3 Awards

Our Livingstone Academy project in Bournemouth has received it’s first ever award nomination and that is for Refurbishment of the Year.

Extensive renovation works have been carried out to the Grade II listed former Coroner’s Court and Magistrate’s Court buildings, which completed at the end of March as part of a phased handover to the client. Through working closely with the contractor and the Local Authorities Heritage officer in Bournemouth, great care has been taken to retain & restore the original features of the Coroner’s Court, whilst bringing the building in line with modern standards. Now completed, the Coroner’s Court building accommodates 6th form students, with the former courtrooms now providing spacious open art classrooms & lecture areas.
