Our Rising Sun housing scheme in North Bersted, Bognor Regis has gained Planning Permission.  The development consists of 6 new dwellings.

Rising Sun housing scheme gets Planning Permission

The proposal consists of construction of six new dwellings, consisting of two and three bedroom homes and associated access and landscape works. 

Arun District Council’s Interim Housing Statement states that Arun District Council is required to significantly boost its housing supply and is working proactively to achieve a five-year supply. The Council is required to significantly boost its housing supply, and is working proactively to achieve a five-year supply as soon as possible through this statement. The Statement applies to greenfield and brownfield sites outside of settlement boundaries and does not apply to existing allocations within the Arun Plan area or to land within the South Downs National Park.

The Council have also indicated the increased demand for two bedroom 4 persons and 3 bedroom 6 persons dwellings. Although it is a small development, the proposed dwellings will positively contribute to the local demand.
