We’re thrilled to share the latest progress on the Pinn River SEND School project, delivered in partnership with Kier Construction for the Department for Education (DfE).
Significant strides have been made on-site, with the concrete and steel frames now fully completed. These milestones represent a major step toward delivering a state-of-the-art, all-through educational facility designed to address the diverse and complex needs of children and young adults with special educational requirements in Hillingdon. Once completed, the 180-place school will provide a safe and inspiring learning environment for students with severe or profound learning difficulties, including those with multi-sensory impairments.

The project has not been without its challenges, including periods of adverse weather and the complexities of operating on a constrained site adjacent to a live primary school. However, thanks to the exceptional collaboration and dedication of the project team, progress has remained on track.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the upcoming phases, which include the completion of the roof structure and the preparation of sample teaching spaces. These spaces will offer a first glimpse into the innovative and inclusive learning environment being created to support the varied needs of students.
As we move closer to realizing this transformative project, we remain committed to delivering a facility that will positively impact the lives of its future users. Stay tuned for further updates as construction progresses toward completion!
