After almost 29 years with Noviun Architects, Alan Johnson has decided now is the right time to step away from the business and to finally bid farewell.
Alan joined West Sussex County Council’s property department after working at the internationally renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. In 1997, as part of the council’s outsourcing plans, Hunters London, took over the council’s architects department.
Alan was tasked with leading the newly formed “Hunters South Architects” through the next 7 years of partnership with WSCC and to continue to deliver high quality facilities to the county. After those 7 successful years, the business had grown well beyond its original client base, paving the way for the next phase with Alan firmly at the helm.
During his time, Alan was seconded to the Department of Education, helping them develop their own standards for educational facilities nationally.

In recent years Alan took a step back to work as a consultant, continuing to offer his advice and expertise wherever it was needed.
Noviun would like to take this opportunity to thank Alan for his unwavering commitment, support, mentoring and humility.
We wish him all the best as he enters this exciting new chapter.
