The new development comprises a new three-storey building linking to the existing school buildings.
The new building will include school hall, sixth form centre, classrooms, staff and ancillary facilities.

Also included in the design is a single-storey extension to changing rooms, enhancement of the central courtyard with associated hard and soft landscaping, additional cycle storage and ancillary development.
A big challenge of the build was to match the cladding of the existing building which opened in 2007. The original product was no longer available for the new build so an RCM panel by Swiss Pearl was chosen which closely matched the existing facades.

The Farrans site construction team is continuing under social distancing measures in-line with the current government guidelines surrounding Covid-19.
